Terms and Conditions for Parents
Purpose: To outline the expectations, responsibilities, and agreements between parents/guardians and Kowley’s Children’s Fitness and Well-Being.
1. Registration and Consent:
- Parents must complete and sign a registration form prior to their child’s first session.
- Consent for emergency treatment, participation, and media use (if applicable) must be indicated.
2. Payment:
- Fees are payable in advance of each term or session, as outlined in booking correspondence.
- No refunds will be given for missed sessions unless cancelled by the club.
- Any late payments may incur additional charges.
3. Attendance and Supervision:
- Children must be signed in and out by a parent or authorised adult.
- Parents must notify the club if someone different is collecting their child.
- Children must be collected promptly at the end of the session.
4. Medical and Behavioural Needs:
- Parents must inform staff of any allergies, medical conditions, or behavioural concerns.
- Children displaying symptoms of illness (e.g. fever, vomiting) should not attend.
5. Behaviour and Safety:
- All children are expected to follow the club’s behaviour rules and respect others.
- Any child who consistently disrupts the session or poses a risk to others may be temporarily or permanently withdrawn from the sessions.
6. Cancellation and Closures:
- Sessions may be cancelled in cases of emergency, weather, or staff illness. Notice will be provided as early as possible.
- In the event of a full cancellation, parents will be offered a refund or credit.
7. Liability:
- While every effort is made to ensure children’s safety, Kowley’s Children’s Fitness and Well-Being accepts no liability for accidents caused by unforeseen events beyond reasonable control.
- The club holds valid Public Liability Insurance, providing cover for incidents that may occur during club activities.
8. Amendments:
- These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. Parents will be notified of significant changes.
Agreement: By enrolling a child, parents/guardians agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions are reviewed annually or when changes to operational or legal guidelines occur.
